This week we went to visit the new space for Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall down in Inman Park on the Beltline.
Overall impression: Great spot on the Eastside Trail of the Beltline loaded with great local beers and a huge bear by Sam Parker on the wall that would scare a herd of elephants.
Most interesting element: They created an American throw back menu with a twist and they are going to have family style servings of grub as well. (Too bad we don’t have families because of major daddy issues.)
What you need to know: They will have draft wine by the jug (which should attract chicks with huge jugs).
Details: 180 seats, bike rack spots and 36 parking spaces. It is right across the beltline from Rathbun’s Steakhouse. (You can’t play racquetball inside.)
Other: Owner Michael claims they will have bathrooms and gigantic painted telephone poles outside which were hell getting delivered.
